Daralyn Johnson was born and raised in Galveston County. This has given her an opportunity to build an extensive network and form close relationships with local businesses and people. She became a licensed real estate agent in 2022.



Understanding my community and the areas I work is one of the most important aspect of my real estate career. Daralyn enjoys showcasing the diverse architecture that Galveston County has to offer from beautifully restored historical homes to the beach houses overlooking the Gulf of Mexico.



Daralyn' s experience hasn't always been in real estate. She has spent 25 years as a Administrative Coordinator for one of the oldest hospitals in Galveston County. She also holds a Notary Signing Agent certificate since 2018. She is member of the APA (Administrative Professionals Association). It is only natural that Daralyn was able to combine her love of Galveston County and the historical homes to develop a successful real estate business.

Dana has seen Galveston progress from a sleepy Southern town to a galvanized, energetic city bursting with new development.

Creative by nature, Dana provides innovative solutions when a transaction is difficult. “By thinking ‘outside of the box,’ I have been able to find solutions and close some tough transactions for my clients. You really make us feel special’ – and that makes me feel great.” One couple represented by Dana described her as “very positive, energetic, friendly and always available. She followed through on every detail. No matter what it took, she got the job done.”

Prior to her career in real estate, Dana ran a property management company for five years and became conversant with condominium and townhome owners’ associations. She oversaw the renovation of over 75 units per year and maintained positive relationships of nearly 600 homeowners. She attended association board meetings and annual meetings, helped with elections, and presented power point presentations. Her background also includes court reporting. She feels the legal expertise gleaned from her tenure as a court reporter has been invaluable to her success as a Realtor.

When not working, Dana likes to walk on the beach, enjoying the beautiful Galveston sunrises and wildlife.

I believe life is all about opportunities and change. Opportunities can define us by those we take, or don't take. Most of my taken opportunities have been in the sales field. Anything from industrial chemical sales to infection control products and then into engagement diamond jewelry sales. Through those opportunities and the changes I've learned that I love helping people find their Happy Place, AT HOME. Home is our happy place, our comfort zone, the place where outside influences have less impact. I am a TREC Licensed Realtor® in NAR, TAR, HAR.
